U.K. voice actor Philip Banks has accepted SaVoa’s invitation for membership. A 17-year veteran and member of Actors’ Equity, Mr. Banks has provided voice over for numerous TV trailers, promos, TV and radio commercials, imaging, computer games, e-learning, and corporate videos. His voice can be heard in the Oscar nominated film, The Queen, starring Helen Mirren, and Volver, starring Penelope Cruz. He was also the voice talent used on “Fear,” the 2004 Royal Television Society award-winning TV promotion. His broadcast clients include the BBC, CNN and ITV, and corporate clients include Intel, BP, BMW and Hewlett Packard.

Mr. Banks’ commentaries on the voice over industry are bountiful, often direct, characteristically witty, and generally thought-provoking. We are delighted to add him to our membership as both an accredited voice over artist and Friend of SaVoa.
